For 1953, Chevrolet produced a Two Ten Townsman and Two Ten Handyman station wagon. Plus a One Fifty Handyman station wagon. No station wagons with Bel Air trim were produced.

At $2123.00 for the Two Ten Handyman and $2273.00 for the Townsman, these wagons were the highest priced 1953 Chevrolets. Production figures were 18,258 for the Handyman and 7,988 for the Townsman.

The 1953 Chevrolet One Fifty Handyman cost $2010.00. The highest priced car in the One Fifty series. Production figures for the Handyman was 22,408.

The 1953 Chevy advertisement below reads - Chevrolet presents the last words in station wagons "Handyman" (two of them) and Townsman (see below) with wonderful new features you'll want.

The same 1953 Chevy advertisement had the following to say about the "Townsman" - The Townsman... Plenty of room for eight. Advanced 108-h.p. "Thrift-King" engine with standard gearshift, or 115-h.p. "Blue-Flame" engine with Powerglide automatic transmission. (Simulated wood-grain trim - removable center and rear seat.)

And this about the "One-fifty Handyman" - The "One-Fifty" Handyman... The new, low-priced 1953 Chevy wagon in the low-priced field... and like all other 1953 Chevrolet wagons, offers great new operating economy. (6 passengers - folding rear seat.)
